Children's Ministries

At Haven, we understand a child's world is filled with many messages. Kids are given a variety of images, sounds and words in a wide range of media each day. Our ministry staff, along with our commited volunteers, reach kids through "kid communicative" tools such as multi-media and music and teach God's truth in creative kid way!

Supervised Nurseries

We are a ministry dedicated to loving children infant through two year olds. We provide a safe environment for them as we meet their needs while parents attend worship. We have toys appropriate to their age that they will enjoy.


All of our workers are screened to ensure that your children will be safe in the care of this ministry. We also offer a pager system in case there is a need for parents during the worship service.


Nursery care is provided for all of our services.

Children and Worship

Children & Worship is a unique and exciting approach to meaningful worship for and with children. In our Centers, children will spend time in prayer, listen to a story, have a time of response, and share a feast with their friends. Children are drawn into the stories as they experience, rather than merely learn, about worship.


Children & Worship is offered for children ages three to kindergarten during each worship service. Children are dismissed from the regular worship service to their own, age appropriate, Worship Center. At the end of the worship services, parents are asked to pick up their children from their Center located behind the Sanctuary.

Sunday School

We offer Sunday School classes for children ages 3-5th grade each Sunday morning (Oct. - May) at 9:30 am. In this ministry, children are engaged by the curriculum, learning important truths from God's Word. Discovering the Bible is a hands-on experience, kids get excited about coming to Sunday School.



Children's Library

Our Children's Library is here to assist children, families, and others with their spiritual growth and development by providing inspiration, guidance, enjoyment, and tools for teaching and learning. We have read-a-loud books, chapter books, videos and DVDs, and CDs that can be checked out using a simple card system. The Children's Library is located in the Fellowship Hall and is open Sunday mornings at 8:30 am, 9:45 am, 10:30am and 12:00 pm.

GEMS and Cadets

Beginning Wednesday, September 16, we will offer GEMS and Cadets for girls and boys in grades K - 5th.


They will meet each Wednesday from 6:15-7:45 pm.

Summer Camp Assistance

Haven has long enjoyed the camping relationships we’ve had with two RCA camps: Cran-Hill Ranch and Camp Geneva. We’ve heard many wonderful testimonies of how God has moved in the hearts of our campers in these places. We continue to believe in – and invest in – the value of these experiences. Which is why we make both scholarships and/or financial aid available.


Haven has a policy in regards to helping families who are exploring assistance for camp registration fees.
